Melinda
Cowdery and Lynn Bishop have been
friends as well as professional artists for 25 years. The whimsical
mixed media wall pieces, each hand made in acrylics and enameled
glass on wood and metal represents their combined efforts.
Melinda Cowdery has been a practicing Oregon artist
since 1986, she
is known best for her lively & colorful bird and animal paintings.
Lynn Bishop began her professional career as an
oil painter, primarily focusing on landscape and water. Lynn
became fascinated with the art of fusing glass, and is best known
in this medium. |

Sonya
Paz. Creating
a new direction in the Pop Art...movement through her exuberant
use of color and playful forms. Bold shapes and vibrant colors
leap off her canvases, while her images explode in an energetic
and wildly whimsical style.
Sonya's paintings and vivid images are a reflection of her California
roots and her active lifestyle. Her positive, creative attitude
and passionate expression represent an optimistic view of the
world. Her works are inspired by the Cubist movement as well
as from American Pop Art. Seasoned by traveling the world
to study art and its history.
Sonya has a passion for Modern Art, Pop Art, Cubism, Modernism and Surrealism. |

Sue Howells has
been active in the market place for several years, and now has a reputation
as one of the top selling artists in the UK, providing work for Harrods
and John Lewis, as well as for galleries abroad - from the USA to New
Zealand. She also provides paintings for TV programs and advertisements.
"And now just a little about me. I began painting
in 1982 and am self taught in all aspects of watercolour painting.
I joined the RBSA in 1988 and have exhibited in London, Birmingham,
Wolverhampton and Ireland. I like to paint solely in watercolours,
because I think it lets me produce pictures which are both energetic
and which have a strong compositional value".

Bart DeGraaf was born in Chicago , received his BFA from
Denver and recently moved to Portland where he fell in love with
the Pacific Northwest.
“I find the act of painting to be euphoric. I have
a passion for color, texture, movement and design. The imagery
I use is pulled from my surrounding, experiences and my imagination.
My hope is that when someone looks at one of my paintings that
they make a connection and enter my world for a brief moment
in time. To me, my art is about the process of discovery, the
synthesis of my personal feelings, color that inspires me, and
techniques that I use; it's a piece of who I am.”
